Technology support

Support shaped around your systems, not a fixed script.

Support is tailored to what you are trying to do and to the systems you already use. We work with your devices, your applications and your existing accounts rather than asking you to change to something else before we can help.

Where a change would genuinely make things simpler, we will explain the options and the trade-offs, then leave the decision with you.

Services

Practical technology assistance

Individual pieces of work or ongoing help, depending on what suits.

  • 01

    Software setup guidance

Installing and configuring applications, signing in to accounts, connecting storage and email, and setting sensible defaults so a tool is ready to use rather than only installed.

  • 02

    User onboarding

Getting a new user or a new starter working in an existing system: access, shared locations, naming conventions, and the handful of routine tasks they will do most often.

  • 03

    Basic troubleshooting

Working through everyday faults — sign-in problems, files that will not open or sync, printing and connection issues, updates that change familiar behaviour.

  • 04

    Digital system guidance

Explaining how the parts of a setup relate to each other, so decisions about storage, access and day-to-day process are made with a clear picture.

  • 05

    Assistance with everyday software tools

Support with the applications used most: documents and spreadsheets, email and calendars, video meetings, cloud storage and shared drives, and note or task tools.

  • 06

    Remote technical support

Assistance by email, telephone or a scheduled screen-sharing session, so help can be arranged without anyone needing to travel.

Delivery

How support is arranged

By enquiry

Describe the problem or the goal by email or telephone. We confirm what is involved before any work starts.

Remote sessions

Scheduled sessions by telephone or screen sharing, at a time agreed in advance, for as long as the task needs.

Written follow-up

Where it helps, we leave short written notes covering what was changed and how to repeat the steps yourself.

Scope

What we will tell you honestly

Some requirements sit outside what a small support provider should take on.

We focus on user-facing software, everyday systems and digital skills. If a request needs specialist infrastructure work, hardware repair, or a supplier’s own technical team, we will say so and help you frame the request rather than attempt it ourselves.

The same applies to timescales. If something is likely to take longer than a single session, we set that out before starting so you can decide whether to go ahead. Send us the details and we will give you a straight answer.
